Topic: First frogs of spring?

A couple of days of snow hard followed by half a day of sun and all hell has broken loose in our garden pond - the frogs are busy making pondweed soup again.

I did a quick trawl using the search facility on the site but didn't come up with any recent entries with the word 'frog' in them, so I was wondering if anyone else is frog rich yet?

Frog free zone in Essex.  They seem to hop off elsewhere to make whoopee, then come back to terrorise our fishies, minus the babies.

Thanks kev, its a long time since I visited so I thought the pond discussions had just been taken off the site. I didn't realise they were under the produce heading.

Went out to look this morning and there seems to be more frog than pond, I hope they are going to put everything back as they found it  :) :)

There were no frogs visible in our local pond last time I checked. That doesn't necessarily mean much though, as it's so reedy that they're often invisible.

Froggies in Bournemouth. Spotted today on way home from school by girls. many tears that we weren't allowed to "keep him"!
