« on: February 12, 2007, 13:52:27 »
Thought these were funny, when the English language is mangled by foreigners

Bucharest,Romania: The lift is being fixed for the next day, during that time we regret that you will be unbearable.

Las Palmas,Canary Islands: If you telephone for room service you will get the answer you deserve.

Seoul,South Korea: Measles not included in room charge.

Austria: Not to perambulate the corridors in the hours of repose in the boots of ascensaion.

Madrid,Spain: Our wine list leaves you nothing to hope for.

Ankora,Turkey: You are invite to visit our restaurant where you can eat the Middle East foods in a European ambulance.

Poland: As for the tripe served you at the Hotel Monopol, you will be singing it's praises to your grandchildren on your deathbed.

Nairobi,Kenya: Customers who find our waitress rude ought to see the manager.

Collected by Charlie Croker in the book,Lost in Translation.

Equality isn't everyone being the same, equality is recognising that being different is normal.
