Did you go for a walk to get that pic. Very good
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Yes I went Geocaching and walked about 11 miles.
It snowed most of the day south of Banbury along the Oxford Canal

Hi Andy, I have family just near Banbury, it's a beautiful part of the country, even better in the snow!  Great pic  ;D (BTW what's geocaching?)
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened

What a great pic, Andy! I'm only an 'armchair traveller' now but I'd love to see the same scene in spring, summer and autumn. Perhaps you can oblige?  ;)

(BTW what's geocaching?)
I stumbled across geocaching whilst looking up something to do with co-ordinates on the net. It is simply a bit like a treasure hunt, you get co-ordinates on the internet and then use a GPS to go find the hidden box.
sign the log book and replace, then log on line on Geocaching.com
Sometimes there are items in the box that have a dog tag attached, they can be taken out but must be put in another cache, this way they travel around the world, I have one that has gone to grand canyon and california and now up in Nova Scotia!!!
Takes you to some great places that you would never visit, even locally.

You can enter your postcode to find ones near you. I bet there are some :o

I'd love to see the same scene in spring, summer and autumn

I would probably not go to the same point again but maybe different parts of the canal for more of the above, I found 18 in 5.5 miles!

Anyone interested then email me if stuck.

Police officers called to investigate a suspicious package found themselves at the centre of a game of treasure hunt.
Bomb disposal officers were called to St Peters Road in Peterborough on Saturday following reports of suspicious activity in the area.
The street and surrounding area was cordoned off at about 18:00 GMT
But the area was declared safe when the object turned out to be a global positioning system (GPS) device used in a game of treasure hunt.
