Mad as a march ?
« on: February 05, 2007, 12:37:06 »
Sadly did not have the camera, but then we were using the chain saw!
Down in the field behind the garden, three hares chasing each other in and out of the hedge and across the stubble. Watched them for a good ten minutes before they disappeared  over the hill.
You NEVER have the camera when you need it.
Lishka will tell you that my first ever posting on the old Beeb site concerend an early morningencounter with a hare and her baby!

See hares most times I go out for a run - they must be quite common round here; usually in ones though.

Someone was telling me that the boxing is not males fighting, but females giving the leporine equivalent of 'I've never really thought of you that way' to a potential suitor.

True, it is more a mating display than a fight. Who is the fastest and best defender sort of thing!
