Wonderful in Essex today - loads of people on the allotment- felt like a summer's day. But I do wonder what is around the corner.

Enjoyed lovely sunshine here after a frosty start. My sciatica has at last eased so you can guess what I was doing today. First real chance to get gardening this year.
Fingers crossed for more sunshine tomorrow.

Beautiful day here near Manchester, but started off frosty.
Got to the plot about 1.30 pm and the man on the next plot was sitting down with a t-shirt on - I'd set off with five layers and extra socks!

Gorgeous day in Coventry too, did some path work this morning, replacing pallets with slabs, and burning the old pallets. Only problem was late morning, the frost was melting, so the ground became very slippery/sticky. Fabulous light though.

Got sunburnt on my forehead. Loads of plots being worked on. Saturday   has been a day to remember. One day of sun, and a fantastic atmosphere shared amongst the tenants here in Midwinters at Cheltenham. Looking forward to, hopefully another good day on Sunday!.

Just put the dogs out for a wee and looked up at a such a clear sky, saw an aeroplane and i know, even at this early hour that today is going to be full of sunshine.  Have a good day 'outside' everyone, look forward to reading the posts tonight!

The good news is, it's looking beautiful outside here too!

The bad news is, my husband left at 8am for a round of golf leaving me with the girls. Not sure how much digging I'll manage with them all there  ::)

am paying for being smug yesterday - it started off beautifly here, sharp and clear but has steadily got more overcast and foggy as the morning has gone on.  :(

Off to B&Q and Asda to look at lampshades and find my 6 year old a pair of jeans!

More of a bite in the air today compared to yesterday, but wonderful all the same - how many times do you get a whole weekend of lottie weather in Feb?    ;D

We've just had two days of unbroken sunshine!  Managed to get to the lottie for a couple of hours this lunchtime, and laid our first path, yippee!  Forgot the camera of course, so sending other half back down there tomorow to take a snap.  Meant to be v cold overnight tho' (-3  :o ), and it has come over very foggy now.  Never mind, i'm tucked up warm in bed!  Nite nite! x

Overcast and chilly here in Essex today, and it even tried to rain whilst I was on the school run.

I need to clean the conservatory windows MrsKP, a job I loathe, they always look smeary and I have tried vinegar and newspaper, designer cleaners, soapy water and a scrim, they still look pants.

Working tomorrow so hoping for a warm spell.

Friday and Saturday spent hours over lottie the sun was lovely, my dad come over Saturday and helped, we turned over 80% of the plot and harvested some parsnips. Glad I did it, looks like frosts are going to break down all the clots of earth.  ;D ;D ;D
MAY THE CORN BE WITH YOU.
