What 4 of us did yesterday........................... ;D ;D ;D ;D







I have really missed my pond from the old house, and am sooooooooooooooo excited to have finally got this one dug out at this house!
It measures 4.5m at it's longest, and 2.5 at the widest.......well no point in putting a small one in was there? ;D  (The OH kept saying are you sure you want it this big???Youngest was hopefull we were digging a swimming pool!!)
Am like a child whose Cjristmases have all come on one day! Now off to source a liner, happy dancing here! ;D

A tad bigger than my pond Doris, lucky you! But my pond measurements were constrained by the surrounding imprint paving. I'm looking forward to seeing yours all finished and planted up.  A pity you aren't closer to Torbay. I have far too many fish in my pond now and will be looking for a new home for at least a dozen come Spring.

Thanks all, the liner arrived yesterday, and yes I had to get it in!! Was there in the dark adjusting the sides ;D ;D  Finally had to turn the water off as I couldn't see what I was doing and nearly fell in! :o  Will post a pic of what it looks like today! ;D ;D

Takes me back a year that does doris. 12 months ago I was in the middle of making mine, so i know the effort involved all too well. Well Done.

Looks good can't wait to see finished pond, I'm in the planning stages of my own one and can't wait to get started but was going to wait till the local GC started to restock their pond plants. I'm thinking about adding some small wild fish.
