Where's my rhubarb?

I noticed that my neighbours have rhubarb poking through nicely now but I had to hunt for mine! It was planted last Jan from some crowns given to me and grew well. I didn't harvest any. There were a few black stumps from one plant just visable - have I lost it? :-[ I thought rhubarb survived anything!

Give it time. Not all varieties will emerge at the same moment, and yous might be in a colder spot. I haven't seen mine yet either, but it's coming.
