Nettle Spray/tonic

Cut back loads of nettles yesterday, (but left a load more for the wildlife!) put some in the compost heap (good activator) and the rest went into a dustbin and got covered with water to make liquid feed. There it shall sit for 2-4 weeks until very stinky!
I did read somewhere that you can make an aphid spray from this too, anyone tried it? If so, good or bad results? Dottie P
Oh and for anyone that is interested!

Yes, DP, used my nettle horrendous concoction to fair effect. Not magic but did help quite a bit against the dreadful aphids :D
