Old net curtains work a treat. They let the light and rain in but keep the temp up and if tucked into the soil, keep the bugs out.

This is what a poundsworth looks like buying the fleece and wire separate.

Now that's really impressive Shirl ;D

i was going to get some of the water bottles that they have in offices and take the bottom off

Yes they do collect them back in but you may be able to get hold of some.

They work a treat.

Only draw back is its pretty difficult to do a tidy job of taking the bottom off, the plastic is quite rigid.

Hi Norfolklass

For garden bargains in Norwich also look in Angla Square and Magdelen st.
Roys, QD, Poundstretcher, and a 99p shop = loads of stuff.

The Alysham road Lidl is the best of the two (theres also one quite close by but on a busy junction so more obvious) Alysham rd store has the gardening stuff that staff at the other have never heard of it. If you only go to the other you will miss out.

(Do you know theres an Aldi on Dereham rd that always has the fruit trees and bushes and other stuff when they are available ?)

Not necessarily a dumb question ??? We have  a pound shop in our town which has stuff in it costing up to quite a few 'pounds'! I think they have lost the spirit of the thing somewhere along the way :-\ Wish we had a Poundland nearby ::)
