I know I can't compete on the seed packet numbers but I'm just going to go away and count the seed catalogues.... I may be away for some time. ;)

We only got an allotment last september but we have been snapping seeds and at the last count we have 56 packets of veg and flowers all entered into a spreadsheet  :)

Well, I'm obviously a mere novice, only 60 packets of seeds :( Still, I've only been growing veg since last spring, so who knows, in a few years, I may reach 3 figures too.

It really does get to be an obsession , doesnt it :o

Well, I'm far behind but very proud of my 14 packs, 2 bags of potatoes and 1 of onion bulbs.  ;D

I daren't look  ::) Got to sort them all out into date order this week and it's a mammoth task  ::)

I'm addicted to seed-buying.

My rationale is: I don't buy shoes, clothes, make-up, handbags, take recreational drugs of any kind, go on holidays, go to the pub, have expensive haircuts etc.

Therefore I am entitled to peruse 'garden porn' (seed catalogues) at my leisure and buy whatever I desire :D

Ok, time to come clean, i've amassed 30 packets of veg seeds, 10 packets of flowers and 4 boxes of onioin sets, and i've only been collecting since January.  Is this bad?  :o ;D

i must have about 40 packets of seeds, flowers and veg. doesnt seem too bad till you take into account i dont actually have anywhere to grow them ;D
(i have 4 storage boxes for growing bunny greens, and i did have a plastic greenhouse but that died during the gales :()
