Holiday blues
« on: April 19, 2004, 19:35:58 »
Why oh why did I go at this time of the year!! My poor babies have suffered a few fatalities, so now sowing more sweet Aji peppers and  urbikany tomatoes tomorrow! Must have been hot here last week cos my lovely lemon tree is all shrivelled looking (rather like me after all that sun!) hopefully with some TCL it will revive.(my skin on the other hand probably wont  :-\) My fushia which was coming along very nicely is also looking bleah, and have lost several flower seedlings  :'(  But on a positive note my giant pumpkins survived, and a canna or two are shooting ;D (this is before i have been up my lottie to see what's happening there!) Much as I love my sibling, as a plant lover she is rubbish ;)   So more soil to be bought, and more seeds to re plant, ahhh well, it'll all catch up anyhow.Garden has sprouted big time :o  Nice to be back, was keeping a brief eye on you all from overseas via friends computer  :)

Bit late reading this post but it reminded me of awful time I went on holiday and arranged for someone to house and cat sit, with the extra proviso of watering the garden!

Guess what I found when I got back?  All I can say, is a good job nature is pretty resilient, was almost in tears when I saw me pots!  ???

Yes DP, at least he liked cats, they were both well fed and looked after!
