Hi

Been quoted £50.00 for a Ton and a half of Topsoil, I believe its good quality, however are unable to confirm this prior to purchase. Does this sound reasonable?
Thanks

sounds quite cheap to be honest, if it is good stuff you have got yourself a bargain!

I bought 2 tonnes for £80 from our local paper.. it came and was about 50% sand 10% rusty nails, 10% misc. bits of broken plastic/ glass etc... the other 30% was good stuff though  ;D

We used it anyway (picked out the bits as we went)...... we dug some new flower beds into our lawn so mixed it with some manure and the upturned bits of turf we cut out of the lawn, it is fine to be honest but we were disappointed when it arrived.
