What was your favourite...
« on: December 25, 2006, 23:49:53 »
What was your bestest bestest chrimbo pressie of santa.

Mine is this novelty kids toy. A walking robot that flashes multi-colours and the upper body spins 360 degrees when imitating firing machine gun and talking.  My 3yr old son got one at a kids party. I loved it so much that I asked Mrs Claus for one. Its gonna sit & take pride of place on my desk at work.  :D

Hard choice, between Kitchen Garden DVD and a bespoke Garden Fork!
Are there any non-allotment presents? other than slippers and booze? Got "alloted time" book as well!

Book tokens, which I ask for every year. I got myself some interesting coins, including a type issued for the founding of Constantinople which I've been after for ages.

I got a fandabby cool cycling jacket, Howies Outback jacket, but the best present is that I have to return it for a smaller size! ;D  Whoohoo! (I've lost 2 inches on my waist since last winter.)

A close 2nd is the £50 of B&Q vouchers a friend got me so I can get more allotment tools!  :)

Tina.

Ooooooh, difficult.......

OH has promised a shed, as yet a figment of his imagination;

Got some hard cash from parents that will go towards allotment habit;

Nice suprise from my mum, who discovered a great diary/plot/garden planner from Asda of all places, very well thought out, all blank weeks to fill in whatever you like, even a purchases list for seeds and plants (too scared to fill that in, I don't want to know...!)

and my son's present was a bird feeder with fat balls, and gardening gloves from my daughter....I have taught them well! ;D
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

I was very pleased with my calender depicting a whole 12 months of different sheds!

Happy new year!

Hmmmm, well I did rather well this year - thanks Father Christmas and all your little helpers, however, from my darling I would say a large bottle of Chanel No.5 - a little luxury in this crazy world goes a loooooooooooooooong way.  Mum always does me amazingly proud and made us a handmade quilt - I will take a photo tomorrow and post to show it off as the work she has put into it is quite breath taking.

The best garden/allotment/work pressie, a fab pair of brand new boots!

Not me, the OH.  I'm a Man Utd fan and the Royals did us a favour.   ;D
