May be of interest
« on: December 04, 2006, 20:02:48 »
Early this year before we had ripe tomatoes we bought some called Dasher from the supermarket.  They tasted so good we saved and germinated some seed and grew 4 plants in the polytunnel.  They grew true to type and tasted just as good, they have just finished cropping now, (December)
They are a small plum shape in two's on a vine, very nice.
Just one more polytunnel, just one more chicken coop.
Just one more allotment.

Yes, saved seed from this years for next year, but they did not have a lot of seeds in them, never mind , can always go to the supermarket again.  Think this type of tomato (Dasher) is only available to commercial growers.
Just one more polytunnel, just one more chicken coop.
Just one more allotment.

Hi Teresa,  they were grown in the UK.
Just one more polytunnel, just one more chicken coop.
Just one more allotment.
