hi
does anyone no of any bird auctions or sellers in north east we live in blyth and are having problems getting chicks and ducklings have we picked the wrong time of year to buy them any help welcome thanks

completely the wrong time of year... wait til Spring/easter sales are the biggest start of the season.

Melton Mowbray have a market which is pretty good - not sure where blyth is in relation. but worth a trip out as good bargains to be had.

Chicks and ducklings at this time of year will have a struggle with the winter, good breeders will avoid late hatchings.

Selby Alternate Saturdays, theres one this weekend

Plus Poultry sale in Selby toen behind the Hotel every Monday (I'm told haven't been)

Thirsk Auction First Saturday of the month

Wharfdale Auction (Otley) Second Saturday of the month
