Was wondering when the shoots start showing, will it be spring? I planted them 28/10 but I didn't soak the beans.
Many thanks

Hi rosy, germination table says around 14 days
http://www.no-dig-vegetablegarden.com/germinationguide.html
Pre-soaked beans start to sprout on day three :o
I'd expect sprouts to show in around three weeks, depending on:
pre-soaking
type of soil
soil moisture (too wet=rot)
depth of planting
temperatures
meece
If they haven't spopped up a month from sowing, I'd be tempted to dig one up and see what's happened you can always re-sow in cold frames or in spring if necessary ::) :)

thank you daisymay, just remember the table shows germination under IDEAL conditions - add a week or two in Real Life ... ::)
