I think I may have eaten there about three times in the last twenty years...
I have no intention of repeating the experience...

Tried the place once - that was enough for me.
Why on earth can't people be responsible though, and put their litter in bins?

I let myself be taken there once, years ago. The food was so disgusting, quite apart from other issues, that I never went back, and never will.

I tried the food once. There is an establishment across the road from us, and the operating techniques are based upon car users depositing their used containers and contents on the car park, to be collected at some later point (which is often not until the following morning). Almost every morning as I pass this car park I see numerous rats feasting.

Can't walk pass one without feeling ill from the smell. It's about time councils came down hard on these places re the litter and threaten them with closure if they don't keep on top it. One of these places opposite me would be my worst nightmare.

That's great news. I'm going to email them to say well done, I don't care about their (ulterior?) motives, so long as they're doing the right thing, and positive feedback when they do good things might encourage them to do more.
Nature on R4 tonight was all about hedgehogs, they were plugging Hogwatch as a great way for people to help hogs:

All my hedgehogs are feeding well, now having to put out two dishes of Cat food and dried hedgehog food. Wont be long now or they hibernate. I believe they have to weigh 650grams for a good chance of survival.
Heres 2 young uns, taken the other night.
I am nowhere near McDonalds......

Bless you Carol!!!!!!!!!
On the subject of cr*p food outlets, can we demand that the Mc's & others of this world, take on youth offenders to scour our countryside for discarded containers.
I have to admit that I went (first ever) time a Mcs**t establishment in Dublin many years ago.
I was seriously ill the next day - never/never again!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers Telboy!!! we try our best for our friends in the garden. I hope mine have fattened up enough for their hibernation. I haven't had a visit since Wed. night so I take it they have gone to sleep. My Hedgehog house was being visited by something but won't find out till next year if a Hedgie was in it. I had a dish of 'covered' cat food outside thehedgehog house and it was eaten nightly :D :D :D :D
