A real sweetie! Also thanks for the advice! Sorry for poaching on your thread Tim K. I fond it much more difficult nowadays where so many parents are quite fierce about what their kids may and may not eat.

I could just provide a lottie selection and a cake!! ;)

Tim, she's gorgeous!  I had a little girl like her but she's gone off to uni now and wears black all the time, enjoy her, it goes too quickly!

Just thinking on how long your daughter has to wear the costume, could you just put snowflakes on the end of the springs from Claires on her head, so it is fun to wear without being uncomfortable and some cheap silver fabric from Fabric land to make a very basic dress, that would double up for an angel, fairy etc in the future in the dressing up box!

My daughter was a snowflake in her first nativity.  All we had to do was buy a white tshirt (Tesco value ones were about £1-50 for an adult one that covered most of her!) and a couple of lengths of silver tinsel.  Cut the tinsel to fit round the sleeve edges and round the hem and tack it into place.  I think we might have done the neck edge too.  Spare tinsel was made into a ring for her head.  Add a pair of white sparkly tights and all done!

Very easy to make and very easy to move around in and very easy to wear even for long periods of time.

If you bring it upon yourself, take it on the chin like an adult.
