I keep mine in an old Blue Nun bottle next to the fridge.
Mind you I was doing that before I got an allotment.

If you're worried about acid wee, then apart from seeing the quack, you could put it in a barrel and add lime. I hadn't thought of doing a pH test on the piss barrel.

I never put anything dodgy in anything remotely like a drinks bottle; there was an awful case when I was a kid of a guy who picked up what he thought was a lemonade bottle, and took a hefty swig. Unfortunately it was concentrated sulphuric acid. I can't remember whether he survived or not.

There was a article in this months issue of either Grow Your Own or Kitchen Gardener magazine on this subject. It stated it was a job for the boys because female urine contains estrogen.

I piss into a 4 pint plastic milk bottle which I keep by the back door. At the moment I`m putting it on the pile of leaves to speed up the decay. I use `compostabins`for my kitchen compost so only put the piss in during the warmer weather, mainly so I don`t hassle the worms! I often let the piss mature for several days as I have heard that it is better to do so.

;D Very true scousers save on water, cos we still have a hosepipe ban here in Enfield, its gotta rain constantly for 9 months to catch up to needed levels, so I put building the compost bin on hold and I am using the pallets to build an ark. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

can you send us the plans, we've got enough water to last for the year, most of it on top of the path,
ray's thinking of getting a model boat to play with on it
by the way, if I go into the ark, no way are slugs, greenfly and whitefly coming on board ;D ;D
