Late flowering Lupins?

I couldn't believe my eyes when I spotted this starting to flower.  Anyone else got Lupins in flower ?

Lupins = slug delicacy

aww! i thought i was the only one. are yours in their first year? they look the same as mine. i cut off any blooms coming through this first year so that i can get them to build up their foliage and create a good display next year.

but yea....lupins as very hardy and they'll probably continue to flower till the frosts.

No thats an established Lupin, been in there about 10 years I think.   I dont live in the south either, I lve in Scottish Borders.   It must be this mild autumn that has caused this late flowering.

ahhhh ok.....well as i said....all sorts of weird things have been happening this year so i wouldn't worry about it.
