Next year!!!!
« on: April 13, 2004, 11:52:52 »
Apart from starting the winter veg (brussels, leeks, kales, caulis...) I have started to think about what I want to grow in 2005!!! At the moment, I have contained myself to thinking about the overwintering veg -onion/garlic/shallots as so far this year, they are doing rather well. My 2 varieties of Broad Beans I planted in autumn are in flower, but not very tall (about a foot tall), and I have 4 peas (just 4 that survived).
I can't wait for the 2005 seed catalogues to come out  ::)

Wow, I can't think past next week!  My broad beans are probably only about a foot or so tall, but covered in flowers and bees I am glad to say!

You're not the only one Multi!

Due to lack of time and space (I don't have a lottie and don't really have time for one either) I've had to put many things off until the future.

I'd love to grow asparagus, but don't have the room. Sugar snap peas are going to find their way in somewhere (even if it means I don't do runners).

I was going to leave beetroot and aubergines until next year, but then I got all impatient and they've already been sowed and have germinated!

And I really must remember this year to sow my hardy annuals and broad beans in autumn to save room on my windowsills!
gone to pot :D
