No, it is sweet and warm! This is a Jimmy Nardello sweet long pepper. (The hens egg is to give you a guide to the size). Very long, reasonably fleshy. Had him roasted with garlic, courgette and tomatos. He was very tasty!

They grow all contorted like that - a long way off the ground. Lovely and sweet - on the list again for next year as I seem to have had better success with this shaped sweet pepper than bell peppers.
