All Squash picked
« on: September 17, 2006, 10:20:12 »
Just thought I'd drop this one in.

I've been and collected all my pumpkins and butternut squashes for the year.

Not a bad haul, i think I would have got more butternut if I hadn't planted them so close.

The courgettes have finished as well now, quite a short season for them this year I think. Very nice though.

I knew someone would ask when Iposted that, knew I had forgotten as soon as i hit POST.

The pumpkins were Halloween (sunny) from mr fothergills.

The butternut I'm not sure. they came from the front of a magazine

It certainly looks like the Halloween Lantern job.... what is it like on the eating/cooking front? We supply empty shells to the childrens ward and nurery.... but keep the important bit... they love it as they don't have to even hollow them out!
