Well with you mentioning Dan, I thought perhaps boots (like in his avatar), or perhaps the handbag ...

Bright red santa like tracky trousers, walking boots that I have owned since my early teens and whatever t-shirt I lay my hands on.  If it is cold I have a selection of Aarons or fleeces and thermal worn under the trousers.  If it is raining....I get wet!  ;D  My darling has no fear of me ever getting chatted up when I am going gardening or allotmenting.  I am usually caked in mud...and other unmentionables.  ;D ;D

Heldi, hilarious!  ;D My laugh for the afternoon with that wig and the vest!
I wear very old jeans and a disgusting pair of suede trainers, plus a paint-decorated t-shirt, and an old fleece with zip pockets – sometimes a nice wrinkly cagoule over all. Plus a half-chewed baseball cap (the half-chewed came courtesy of the lottie fox who nicked it for awhile).
This year it's squash.

summer:  strappy vest & linen skirt, winter:  fab commando trousers (hide practically everything, including me in the jungle !) and several thin layers with once delightful, but now rather grubby, down filled gilet.

Worn my lovely stripey wellies out ...

I grow my veg down the garden so am often out there in my nightdress gardening!  Go down with my cuppa in the morning and get carried away and forget to come in and get dressed - OH often tells me off!

Do dress a bit warmer in the winter though! ;)

No Lotty either but a big garden and I do a tremendous amount of weeding in my slippers.  Came to grief weeks ago by falling in the rockery, so maybe I have learnt my lesson.   ::) ::)

Hey! that's living too dangerously for me :o. I've got this pair of velour-look leggings in splodgy lime-green, orange, fuchsia, blue, sunshine-yellow & every colour in-between,  which I wear with a similarly classy top especially for Me Ventures into The Shrubbery......'Lost' ain't got nothing on my Shrubbery..... ;D when I peg it I want it to be in a smoky jazz joint somewhere decadent, NOT at the top of me garden  8)

ps....said leggins are known as me 'Dare to Wears'.....ie " do you really dare to wear those?"........you bet I do! :P

Ha ha ha!Got caught out by the postman the other day (delivering tomato squidger) Me: "ooh, great" Him "worth getting out of bed for then"
This was 9am, I had been up since 6.30 weeding, picking toms, figs, messing around in greenhouse etc., but still in dressing -gown.
Smiled and shut door with great speed.

PS Lisha, can I come with you to the jazz joint? I promise to be suitably attired. ;D

Blouse that managed to get blue nailvarnish down it on wear number three and was consigned to scruff forever. Used-to-be black jeans; one is patched on both inner thighs but the patching is so old it's ended up like the other identical pair - bloomin' great tears across the back of each leg. I try not to bend over with my bum to my neighbour! Old shoes that are on the way out, handbag, mobile phone x 2, palm pilot etc etc murble murble

A HANDBAG????!! How posh are you Bennett?

I stagger to the plot with kitchen compost bin, carrier bags with milk for tea, another few packets of seeds, sarnies, chocklit etc etc!

Ancient holed army jacket (bit smelly, but each dangerous wash risks final disintegration), pockets a black hole of useful/useless items. Soggy boiled sweets always a delight, surfacing at opportune moments.

Tattered tracksuit bottoms (always wear matching underwear so the holes aren't so evident ;))

Split walking boots/soft green plastic clog type things (also mightily split)

Old t-shirts - holed, but oh so comfy, emblazoned with snappy slogans which are  excellent ice-breakers/neighbour scarers e.g. 'Star Trek Intergalactic Tour Dates', 'Avon killed the Clone' and 'I am not a number'...

Blue woolly hat (cold), blue brimmed hat (warm)
