Composting Ivy?
« on: August 25, 2006, 16:13:53 »
We've had a clean-up today and taken loads of ivy out from behind the shed. Is it ok to compost it? It's quite woody, don't mind that, just worried that it'll keep growing in the bin (dalek).

Oh that sort of Ivy I was going to suggest that burial or cremation is more common. But on a more serious note - I think it would take a long time to rot, perhaps better to put it with the leafmould

And it will grow!  I bunged loads in my compost and it grew out of the lid!
