Mine are up to - hoorah for spring.  Keep an eye for slug and snail damage, the b*ggers have already totally destroyed my lupins, as for feeding...anyone?  I don't really use a fertiliser in the garden at particular times, bad Emma, I use pelleted chicken poo early summer, and I mulch with my compost, which I figure is good for the soil and the plants, and that is about it.  No help at all, sorry.  :-\

I love hostas and have grown lots.  Usually, I grow them in pots with vaseline around rim to keep away slugs and snails.

Have never fed them and they are both dry and wet tolerant.  Just every now and again need splitting.

Happy hosta growing!  :D :D :D
