I think we should all lobby our councillors/MPs/MSPs/MEPs: rain overnight and sunshine all day; localised temperature with individual, personal control settings and frost on demand to start off the garlic etc. Snowfall  and ice to be targetted where required.
What dya think? ;D ;D ;D

Send some of your rain over here; everything's still as dry as dust.

Lifted some spuds for tea last night - the ground a few inches down is still very dry ...

I would love to find some moisture at any depth, I posted a piture of the soil from where I had dug my potatoes, it is baked hard and I have around 100 varieties of daffodil bulbs to get in next month. We nearly had some rain this week, it tried but was not successful. :( :(
