Wife couldn't find me to watch - but understand that I'm not the only one with carrot disaster this year?

Rushed and watched when I saw your post Roy, thank you, really enjoyed it.  Nice to know others struggle with carrots!  And parsnips too this year, just sown another lot!

Yippee, it's raining, need some to fill my empty water butts! ;D

It must be nice to have neighbours, I keep plowing a lonely furrow.  10 plots on the site and only 4 being worked - only mine and 1 other regularly.  Oh for a chance to stop and have a chat and a cup of tea.

How can more people be attracted to the benefits of the great outdoors? ???

Me too. Darned things. I'm on packet no. 3. (The Bog Dig disasters were last year too)

Yes that's a typo and I'm leaving it in there cos anyone who's seen the Welsh growing conditions/torrential rain will laugh :)

Is there anything you can do locally to interest people? Maybe get a local paper to do an article?

Do ya know, I am yet to see a single episode!  Sunday mornings, up at dawn thanks to the kids, and by 10am we are already half way through our day!

Well I'm ashamed to say having worked for the post office and getting up at 3-30am 6 days a week for 13 years now retired and getting up at half way through your day Emma, leaves me embarrassed to say the least, but enjoying every minute ;D

You enjoy it Roy.  I tell the kids that when they are grumpy teenagers that want to lay in bed all day, I will be in their rooms at 6am hoovering and tidying!  ;D

Mike I think it was, built a fantastic shed for the teacher bloke & his daughter, it was made mostly out of reclaimed timber and glass and raised above ground to avoid damp and rats nesting, brilliant, great design too. ;)

Shame it's finished but so glad "Dragons Den" will be back next week, nothing to do with gardening although it could be as our very own "Truffle" was featured in the last episode. :)

Hope it turned out well for you Truffle ;)
