Very envious of all you out there with your own bit of land - have had name down for over 3 years now and getting desperate - oap Midlothian

Have you gone to the plots and asked if any are vacant? Often the council say they are all taken, but that is only because the rent has been paid- the plot may not be used. Certainly our T & Cs say that you must cultivate the plot or lose it. So get down to the allotments and do some detective work- it might pay off.
