Was one indoors one out, now both indoors. One from outdoors dropping flower & stalk.
No not feeding it.
2ft pot middle size.
When dry and sometimes when leaves strop
about 6 flowers gone.
Is there any hope of me getting a chilli this year??
When plants are indoors the wind doesn't shake the plants, to aid pollination give the plant a wiggle every so foften or dab with aa cotton bud. I never did this the first year I grew peppers and I still got lots of fruit, but a ot more flowers dropped than do these days.
I wouldn't feed until it has fruit, even then I would only feed with 25% tomato feed. Too much nitrogen and the blossom drops.
2ft, that is a very large pot, it is probably retaining a lot of moisture down below, and giving the impression that the pot is dry while it is wet down below. Chillies do not like too much water, and will wilt if given too much, they also wilt in the day if it is hot, only give extra water if it is clear that they are very thirsty, or if wilting doesn't go away in the evening.
Six flowers isn't too much to worry about, and I am sure you will get fruit, chillies produce more and more flowers for every new layer of stem divisions, there is plenty of time yet, especially if your plants are indoors.
