Allium flavum
« on: July 10, 2006, 21:15:25 »
As those who know me know I like the ornamental onions of all kinds and sizes. There is one called A. flavum which is a foot tall candelabra type flower with grey/green leaves and yellow flowers. It is an eastern European species. There is a variation called A.f. tauricum which is pink and white too.
These are seedlings of the norma' yellow one (the first image in picture number one). There are other variations too,but they are not yet open enough to photo.
