July Garden invitation.
« on: July 04, 2006, 20:34:19 »
Only a month since the last one, grief but time is flying. It is closer to next Christmas now than last!
Still here is the garden as it was today, warts and all.

Eric I have just taken a walk through your wonderful garden, in fact I went for a second walk!! Really great when you view it  with the slide show facility. I nearly put the slide show on pause so that I could have a little sit down on your lovely seat ;D
So interesting. Thank you.

I could quite easily get lost in there Eric.  If I promised to be quiet you'd never even notice I was there.  Pretty please ?   ;D

Hannibal was under the bench on the Cemetery, Mytton under a Viburnum tinus and Twiggy on the settee!.

A great garden Eric.   ;D   ;D   It must keep you fully employed from dawn to dusk and I bet you don't get any time to just sit in it.   :P  I can always dream that one day my garden will look like that.   ;)

Absolutely agree, great garden, but a lot of hard work, still when the outcome is that good it is worth it!

Eric, been thinking.. When you go out to take photos of the garden is there a particular route you take each time or is it random? I Have been trying to sort out an album of pictures for my garden in june and found that the order I have taken them in doesnt make sense when veiwed as a 'tour' (by someone not knowing the garden perhaps). So I have spent time sorting out a 'route' or 'tour' in the hope that next time I can take the pics in the right order!

Basically the pictures are taken as if you were going on a tour of the gardem starting at the front gate and finishing there. However, if you did go for a wander round the garden there are a lot of other routes and detours which I do not always include in the album. Friends reckon the full tour takes about 2 hours and if you are keen on plants and like to discuss them then it can take all day!
