I meant no offence or disrespect to tim. I was merely enquiring into what acheivement IN PARTICULAR  his post was refering.  An elaboration may be reqired here Tim if you'll be so kind sir.

What am I proud of. Plenty of things. Like the first time a plant, that I have grown from seed or cutting and nurtured carefully,  flowers or sets fruit. Or perhaps when someone admires a bed or border i have carefully planned and planted up. Shall I go on?

I should REALLY be carefull what i type shouldnt I?

Drool?

This is how young we're having to pick it! = Tim

I'll get the focus right next time - not going to go through all that again now!

Richard - thanks. But you've put me on the spot.

'Proud'? It was a generalisation, referring more to others, rather than myself.  And strictly as an encouragement pour les autres. Trying to show that a  lifetime of dabbling, on & off, doesn't mean God!
For the last 1/2 hour, I've been trying to think of anything of which I am 'proud'.  'Excessive self esteem' - no! 'Much pleased' - yes - but mainly with what the children have achieved. It may be a sad & cynical attitude but although, after all these years, I still get enormous satisfaction from the soil, I tend to see more weeds than fruit! And still experiment to do better 'next year'.

So - where does that get us? And have I answered your question?? = Tim

Dont Know

Yes It has

I hope I answered your question as well.

You should certainly feel proud of your achievements Tim. Many of them put us all to shame, particularly me.
