Topic: when to plant out brassicas?

When should i plant out brocolli and cabbage seedlings???? How big do they need to be?

i plant them when they have a few proper leaves, but sometimes they are no larger than 3inches or so - the plant, i mean.

they prefer the soil to the seed tray so will romp away as soon as they hit the ground.

mine are going out v. soon for autumn and winter cabbages, and PSB

Ah thank you - I shall go and plant them all out tonight as they are looking tired of the seed tray and the mini green house
