Variety: Asda Giant Russian
Sown in Pots covered in cling film then left to germinate in Airing Cupb.
Contestant: busy_lizzie

Date sown: 30th March
Variety: Mr. Fothergills Giant Single
Chitted on Kitchen towel, then put into pots and placed in Porch
Contestant: busy_mike (bl's other half)

Place Sown: Heated conservatory

Where sown - in paper pots, on windowsill

Contestant - Halla (my youngest - and for all that she's 8, has 3 year's experience of growing big 'uns).

lots of little sunflowers popping up where the seed husks have been scattered, mainly by the greenfinches - I'll pick the best one on measuring day if that's ok?
