Garlic Granules?
« on: May 06, 2006, 16:24:35 »
 ???

Have heard people mentioning garlic granules as a way of fighting off the nasties. Do they mean garlic granules like the cooking ones? Does it work? Which bugs are affected? Would crushed garlic work just as well?

Ooooh questions, questions...

And another one to add - would garlic granules in water be sufficient to wake up the rot so that it starves to death.

Carol Klein mentioned that Monty Don had scattered these round the lupins, apparently with success. I was wondering where you'd get them in bulk? Never seen them myself.

You can get large tubs of garlic powder(?) from animal/equine feed places to go in animal food.  But I don't *think* its powder like flour etc, I think its more like small granules?  Best check before you buy though... :-\
