Chelsea Photos
« on: May 26, 2006, 18:29:17 »
Hi everyone!  I went to Chelsea yesterday and wondered if you would like to see the photos!   I had a fantastic day but did'nt get to see everything as there were queues for Chris Beardshaws garden, so missed the ones that were covered by queues of people -  although I did get photos of it as my friend was very sneaky in distracting the steward while I nipped in the back way  :o!

We watched a florist stand making corsages and both my friend and I were given them - we were thrilled and  they made it an even more special day for us.

Hope you like the photos. :D

Lovely photos.  Couldn't work out who the strawberry blonde was for a minute there - though it must be you.  Then the penny dropped.  ::)  :D

I've already suggested to my OH that he builds in our garden a grass sculpture similar to the reclining lady.  Not sure hortisculpture is his artistic thing though - he's more at home with acrylics and watercolours.  ;D
Tread softly, for you tread on my greens.

Hi Sarah - that's the first time I have seen a mecanopsis  for real - and I've never seen a blue like it - they were lovely, what a shame they are so difficult to grow.

Wow Greenwizard :o  You are so lucky to have Meconopsis growing in your garden.  The pics are fantastic!  Someone asked me if they would grow in Toronto - maybe a tad too cold for them? What do you think?
