Go on Roseyred! they are fun - especially when they come in the kitchen andpoo all over, or go and eat all your seedlings!  But the eggs are worth it!

Yes we had that with our last lot. Our black rock was really nosey and used to walk straight in the kitchen and like you said left me a thank you on the floor. She did used to clean up the crumbs though haha.
