Regarding the rhubarb wine we used to make a lot of wine and the rhubarb nearly finished us!  It looked lovely, clear, tasted lovely and was most definatly alcoholic but it was also an incredible laxative. never ever been so ill -as was everyone else who drank it. never ever again would I make wine from rhubarb!

Oh I'm sorry, I shouldn't laugh, but I nearly fell off my chair!  Oh Jo.  Such a shame, I would have thought rhubarb wine would have been a gorgeous pink colour, sharp and dry.  Oh well.  ;D  Glad you all recovered....I am assuming you all recovered.....  :o
