flies in top of greenhouse
« on: May 12, 2006, 09:04:46 »
it's like the killing fields in there as I swat as many as I can every night - not very buddhist! but how do I stop them enjoying the heat of the roof of  my plastic greenhouse?
I will finish it, one day

If you haven't got a vent, I've seen a hanging fly trap with pheromones - with a name like 'red hat' - that's supposed to be good. Worth a google?

Have the spiders not cottoned on yet? I can't get into either of mine without looking like Frodo on a bad hair day!

Little yellow sticky traps!

Or a child's seaside fishing net. That's how I get hoverflies out the conservatory cos the silly things can't seem to get out once they're in!
