Derby, Derbyshire UK... sorry not hiding in any caves although there are some on the Trent.... The Wisteria is on the wall of Kings Newton Hall, near Melbourne. I presume the stone came from Stanton by Bridge, the nearest quarries at that time about 2miles on the packhorse road. The bridge in question is Swarkestone Bridge, probably the longest surviving medieval causeway in Europe. About five miles from Castle Donnington / East Midlands Airport or whatever they call it now!

It looks even nicer today, more open flowers but I didn't have the camera, it is my short cut home when the M1/A50 decide to become one big car park!
