Any idea using CD's
« on: May 07, 2006, 13:23:53 »
Reading another thread I was wondering would I be able to grow a cabbage with a CD around the base to stop cabbage fly laying eggs? I was wondering as the hole isn't that big and i'm not sure how big the stem gets.

More to the point how would you get the plant through the hole, and secondly to answer your question I would say it too small a diameter (circa 15mm) for mature plants.
