Frost damaged crown imperials?

A few of my crown imperials seem to be dying back at the tips of the leaves; is this frost damage or something worse? All the others are fine.

Sure looks like it Robert. Beautiful plants what a shame they have been nipped by the frost. Never mind there is always next year. ;)

As long as it's only frost, I don't mind so much. That clump's building up slowly, but there's still only the one that flowers.
