Lettuce Eat!
« on: March 09, 2004, 16:50:26 »

Picked this for supper last night, came from my unheated greenhouse. It is great to be eating something salady that is home grown again! Mizuna and Red Mustard. The red mustard has a nice kick to it too ;D  ;D  ;D I am a happy DP!

EJ,Cor now you are asking! See I should have written it down!!! Bad Dp Bad DP :( I think it was around November/December. I put them into my tomato bed when I have hoicked the toms out and changed the soil!
Have also got Red Russian Kale nearly ready, Corn salad, and Pak choi. Got my seeds from Sarah Ravens cutting Garden, she has some great types, and grows them herself over the winter.www.thecuttinggarden.com If you are not serving immediately, they need to be soaked for about an hour to keep em crisp.
