Strawberries through black plastic
« on: April 16, 2006, 08:12:06 »
Hi all,
One of my raised beds is literally alive with mares tail, and in this bed are my strawberries.Last year i just kept pulling at the mares tail, which grew after a lot of digging, and weeding.
A fellow lottie has grown his crop through plastic, and seems to be well in control.

"Any advice anyone"?- (perpetual, and london pensioner are the breeds,if req`)

                                Regards,
                                     Mark
