« on: April 04, 2006, 10:08:37 »

They are hardier than you think so you could direct sow now I would think.

My autumn sown ones have been hardened off in a coldframe for a month and are now out in their final sport and seem very happy.

i've had some outside in the mini greenhouse for few weeks now, and some in the unheated bedroom, and some just sown in the heated living room) that seem to be leaping on at a great rate.

think i'm gonna  start putting them in the ground soon and see what happens.

Remember to pinch out the tops when they have 3 sets of leaves to bush them out.

mine went in way back at the beginning of Feb but i sowed some more last week, so if you've got some more seed, i would anyway.

I sowed some sweet peas about 3 weeks ago and they've just started to show. It's been quite windy and cold but they don't seem to mind it. :)
