Tomatoes - Potting on
« on: April 01, 2006, 09:22:22 »
My tomato plants are now about 2½" tall and I want to pot them on into 3½" pots.  If I use multi purpose compost, will it have enough nutrients to get them to the stage of planting out in their permanent positions?

I was wondering if I should make up my own compost using 3 parts multi compost and 1 part compost from a growbag.  What do you all use please?

What's the best time to do it: when there's two true leaves?
