Great pics Heldi, nice looking sarnie, which obviously one of your girls fancied too.  You are brave and hardy for going up to your lottie but I expect it was to see your chooks as well.  Nice  hair and and nice boots, if I may say  so too.   :D busy_lizzie

Thanks BL!  I have to go to see the hens otherwise I miss 'em!  No, I have to pick up their eggs and check their water etc.  Sandwhich was lovely...from the local bakery..yummy.

My boots were a pressie to myself last Sept when I went camping. I saw them in the window and HAD to have them! They are scruffy now. Just been wondering how to clean them.

My hair...why thankyou kindly. It's chemically treated so I aint organic!

so I HAD to go back and clock the boots! I'd already thought 'nice hair' tho (and yes, the chooks are great, too!). Your boots 'moleskin' or whatever it's called, btw? Cos if so, I was pressure washing someone's patio last year and turned the lance on my boots last of all (after taking them off, like..) Came up a treat, they did ;D

The boots are suedey nubuck type thing Alishka.

Still got all my fingers Curry. I at first thought you meant the chickens pecking them off but then I looked at that last picture and I understood. Mouth bigger than Tynemouth haha!  Also I NEVER share my food heh heh heh!

Mimi...I wouldn't dare!!!

Lorna, they are laying between 9 and 13 a day!  I'm thinking of putting an "eggs for sale" sign on my daughter's pushchair  :D

Anne, I love to say it was Dennis but he is in the first pic. My OH took them. He sneakily had his sandwich in the shed and came out to find me with Lilly trying to pinch mine.  (No chance!)

Wish I had tuned in earlier to make some original remark about the boots.

You & your hair? That's old hat - we already have some lovely photos of both on record!

If they had had their way it would have been a chicken sandwich.

Tim. The boots are becoming famous but if I can't get them clean they may have to be replaced....blackberry is a colour I have set my sights on. Watch out for the hair...it changes with every visit to the hairdresser!

Steve I will donate the boots to you when I get some new ones if you like

cleaning the boots is easy - go to your local walking store (one which sells good walking boots) and there are loads of cleaners for these nubuck/suede boots.  Then use a suede brush when the leather is dry.  Though I have to admit, I prefer "normal" oiled leather for my walking boots, then I can keep them waxed and waterproof.  My current boots I bought in 1999, in 2000 I walked over 1000 miles in them... they are still going strong and are now multi purpose allotmnet/walking boots until I can afford new walking ones (at £130 I cannot buy new ones too often!)  mine are made by meindl and fit wide womens feet!

I have to say though, having seen your boots, I would love that colour for the hills!  Not sure I would live it down in the "club" though  ::)

I love the chuck  ;D

Haha Alishka do you think anyone would want to bid for them. They've got chicken poo on them.

LOL - luckily I am not too wide a woman!!!  Teach me to re-read my word order next time ;D

I love the boots, just found the grisport website - £55... I may have to get a pair of these pink boots to see what they are like for walking...

chicken poo on boots - surely this would demand a premium...

Update... just found out; a local market town sells these boots...
