......every year during the bird count we end up not bothering as there are no birds in our garden on that weekend. Yet this morning it was busy busy. Several blackbirds, sparrows & pigeons on the ground eating seeds that had got dropped, blue tits & starlings on the feeders, a couple of long tailed tits being beautiful & then I saw 2 siskins sat in a lilac tree at the back. And the wren was around recently. I felt like doing a revised count.

I guess with all the publicity and hype, someone forgot to tell the birds it was happening.

Welll I guess it is a snapshot. Someone else probably spied them in their garden. ::)
