Fruit trees - The Wonder of Woolies
« on: January 29, 2006, 18:39:08 »
Their 'two for the price of one' deal includes their soft fruits - today I bought two Blueberries (Bluecrop) for £4.99 the pair.

Am crying paid a lot for my 2 bushes. Have such a lot of things to look at the weekend no time for work!! Let alone staying in and doing house work.

What's the 2 for 1 deal (I get the obvious bit) - I mean what does it cover and is it still on?

The offer covers seeds, bulbs and tubers and the small fruit bushes and shrubs, in fact everything bar the trees - apple, pear, ornamental - which are soooo cheap anyway...my Concorde Pear tree cost £7.99.
As my previous post shows, I bought my blueberries on Saturday, and I don't see the offer ending till stocks run out.
Go for it!

Right, I'm going to get me down to Woolies on the way to work tonight! I need a couple more blueberries to keep my solitary one from getting lonely, if he survived the winter ok.
Nothing rhymes with orange...
